Rebranded Paramount+ streaming service launches on March 4
If they pull an HBO and pull away from Apple TV Channels instead of updating CBSAA (and I guess Showtime?) to Paramount+, it'll be a nail in the coffin for TV Channels as an Apple service. Shame too since I like using them.

Your logic makes little sense. Apple TV+ is not marketed as a dark drama streaming service, if anything it tries to be a "jack of all genres"I agree with SpamSandwich that the service could use a little bit more comedy in its lineup. Right now you really just have Mythic Quest and Central Park as the only true comedies. Yes Ted Lasso and Trying are comedies technically, but they implore a lot of dramatic and emotional storylines that overtake their funny bits. TV+ needs another Office-like comedy or even a sitcom.

Apple has the right to enforce their policies. Tbh they should double down with the likes of Netflix to set that precedent.What IS wrong about the whole thing is that iOS doesn't give the option to load apps from anywhere other than the App Store. That's what needs to change.
