Look, is it a dealbreaker issue? No of course not it’s just a stupid inconvenience and just a meme at this point, we all know that. But the fact is is that this IS a stupid design choice that’s persisted for almost 10 years now. A company like Apple who hones in on the notion that products shouldn’t even see the light of day until they’re “right” should’ve found a better solution to this a long time ago. Wireless charging on a mousepad while in use? Or maybe just PUT THE PORT IN THE FRONT??? Who cares if people never take the cord out? That’ll be their choice to make. Even if charging is quick, having to stop using it to awkwardly charge the thing on its side is so clunky and un-Apple-like. Just get rid of it so people stop talking about it.

This is SO F***ING LAME, SHORT SIGHTED, AND STUPID OF APPLE. I've said for YEARS Apple TV Channels should've been their main focus of competing with the likes of Netflix Hulu and Amazon. But they let an otherwise superior platform pretty much die in favor of just Apple TV+, which should've been treated as a showcase for what the rest of the channels were capable of in features. I see this move as Apple throwing in the towel in the most un-Apple-like way and telling everyone Amazon is the winner here. If I were them I would've ONLY agreed to this if Amazon themselves agreed to make Prime Video an Apple TV Channel on the TV App in return, along with Apple ACTUALLY PUSHING to match Amazon's channel lineup with services like Max, Discovery+, Crunchyroll, PBS, and many others integrating with the TV App. As someone who's tried to support Apple's TV products as much as possible, this was like a slap in the face. Total failure on Apple's part imo.

Apple is so godd**n stupid with their “gaming efforts”. Here you have a full fledged service in the middle of the App Store - the only App Store on iOS tvOS and iPadOS - along with announcements and grandstanding of how console level games can be played on their newest hardware. WHY AREN’T MORE AAA GAMES MAKING IT TO ARCADE???? Why aren’t Apple TVs being made with it in mind??? Why didn’t they try to get games like RE4 and Death Stranding on the service?? Arcade has the infrastructure and hardware it needs to be a mainstream Steam, but Apple just has their heads up their asses when it comes to reaching the potential of their services in general. They need to do better.

Kinda sad to hear. Apple was really hoping this would end up being TV+'s Game of Thrones with how they hyped it up. But that first season was a real disappointment. Season 2 was way better, but I think hype mostly died off after Season 1. Apple TV+ has a severe viewership issue, and with how expensive Foundation supposedly is I can't see this going past this 3rd season.

That actually looks pretty slick. Better than FaceTime even. Kudos to their design team.
