Video: Apple gets ready to ship HomePod after month-long delay
WTimberman said:What I'd really like to do with HomePods, apart from playing music on them, is to use a pair of them as TV speakers for an Apple TV setup. It's always seemed a waste to me to need two sound systems in my living room, one for music playback, and one for the TV. I realize that for audiophiles, and for home cinema fans, having two speaker systems, whether or not they're fed from the same receiver/amp, is the way to go, but for ordinary mortals like me, having one reasonably high-quality speaker pair serving both use-cases would be pretty compelling.
If you have an Apple TV, it should definitely be able to hook up using Airplay 2.
Other than that, I'm not sure if it'll hook up like that with a Smart TV. Would be nice. -

Watch: Why Apple slows down older iPhones and what you can do about it
sflocal said:"I used to take my iPhone7 into the sauna at the gym, and it would sometimes overheat"...
Even those working at AI are sometimes are a few cards short of a full deck. Many gyms, mine included have very restrictive policies about carrying phones around in the locker room areas. If I saw someone at my gym with a phone in the sauna, not only would I shake my head in amazement that they would even do that, but I'd tell that clown to take it outside to an established zone and/or report them to management.Saunas and electronics do not mix. I must be getting old because this is crap that I would never do (I'm a software engineer) and must be more like a millennial thing with serious device-attachment issues. -
How to personalize Siri's voice response settings in iOS 11
