Thank you for this article, and I hope people actually read the contents of it. I have already gotten fed up with all the comments on multiple forums hating on Apple for "killing" their custom libraries, getting rid of the store, getting rid of home sharing, etc. Any excuse to hate on Apple, I guess.

.zip files, they already said Files could handle zipping and unzipping. .torrent, however, I doubt will ever be supported. Apple has an obligation to their shareholders and their business partners in the movie and TV industry to prevent piracy as much as possible.

Do you really want your camera continuously uploading video the cloud 24 hours a day, though? Cox gives us a 1TB data cap, and I would blow through that within a few days with our Nest cams if we allowed them to do that.

Its probable Huawei has stolen tech but that’s not the “security” issue being raised here. Proof is needed not anecdote.

Look, I don’t agree with the OP either,  it referencing that Bloomberg article at this point is just being blatantly ignorant. It has been proven to be false so many times by so many credible sources that it’s asinine they haven’t retracted the story.

But I always wonder what the reaction by the general public and media would be to this ban if it happened during the Obama administration. Anything Trump does is automatically the wrong decision, regardless of the actual outcome or result. It’s quite tiring for someone who normally sits on the middle of the fence and can see the pros and cons of both sides of the political aisle.

The Hilton app does this too, it’s awesome! Another nice benefit is that I can check in to my hotel room the day before, even pick my room in some cases, and never have to see the front desk! Everything is done in the app. It even allows access to the parking garage through the app too!
