To be fair, that’s exactly what Apple did with the black MacBook back in the day. Exact same internal specs, but higher price strictly because of color. Although that is the one and only product I know of that they’ve ever done that. (And to be fair to Apple, it did look super cool!)

My SO prefers them for this reason while running, needing to be aware of outside sound. 

Besides work calls, I wear them in the gym and have never had a problem of needing to turn them up too loud, they serve this use case perfectly. 

Awesome, glad they work for you guys, they really are an impressive piece of tech! I love the benefits the W1 chip provides, and it's one of the main reasons I got the Powerbeats over other options like the Bose Soundsports. I wish music would auto pause/play when I take out and put in the Powerbeats buds, but I'm interested to see if Apple makes fully wireless Powerbeats 4's that will integrate this kind of feature.

Not only does the sound quality take a hit, but these are near useless while I am mowing the grass or flying, for example, and I have to turn them up way too loud at the gym. It's this reason that I am sticking with my trusty Powerbeats 3's.

Just covering the most visited/ populated cities in the U.S.? San Francisco, Chicago and New York are all on the I80 corridor, but I doubt that's a reason.

Could it be a possibility they are opening a New Apple Store near the venue or one of these product launches might make New York a great backdrop for a new AR or maps iPad app?

If they’re driving down I-80, we wouldn’t mind having an event here in Omaha! Invite Warren Buffet, catch some College World Series, go to the zoo, it would be a great time!
