They're too big. Why does Apple suddenly have a fixation with size.
If they would have kept the same 38mm size, I'd be in line for a gen4. But I don't want a bigger watch.

Pretty soon we'll have iPhone sized watches and iPad sized phones, and they'll make a iPad the size of a laptop.... oh wait.
Seriously? A 2mm difference is too big? 1/16 of an inch?

What won't people complain about when it comes to Apple?
Now compare it to the 42mm Huawei watch ... it's now larger than the watches many were saying were too big when the Apple Watch first came out, and the Huawei still has more display area, and no bezels.

I question how useful the extra display area in a round display is. I'd argue it's less useful, and that that's the obvious reason why we don't have, you know, round monitors.
Yes, but what about a pyramid?

  • FCC pauses review of Sprint and T-Mobile merger

This shouldn’t have even gotten this far to begin with. Less competition means higher prices for the consumer. I remember the huge stink the ATT/TMobile merger talks caused back in 2011. Everyone was against that! Now all of a sudden it’s ok for TMobile/Sprint to merge?

Not like I would ever use Sprint or TMobile because they are the crappiest of wireless services in my area, but still. This has the potential to raise prices on AT&T and Verizon’s end. Sprint and TMobile (here at least) are mainly used by low to low/middle income folks while AT&T and Verizon are pricier but provide superior service in much more areas making them a very reliable wireless service provider.
Dude, you literally just answered your own question. You fully admitted Sprint and T-Mobile can’t compete alone. The difference with the AT&T/T-Mobile merger was that AT&T is already a market power and was trying to stifle competition. At least in your scenario, and many others I might add, a Sprint/T-Mobile merger would actually INCREASE competition because it would finally give you a viable third option to look at instead of just going with either AT&T or Verizon, and leaving the other two to the “poor” people, as you stated.

  • Comparing the Core i9 and graphical performance of the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro with Dell'...

God I want that 1050 in a Macbook Pro. I'd be fine with the butt being a few mms thicker for it, the uplift is substantial even with the Dells Max-Q version.
The full-up 1060 in the Surface Book 2 I recently picked up is an absolute beast. I had the 2018 15" MacBook Pro for a couple weeks, but never felt quite the same about it as our old Pro. I returned it, but still wanted a high-performing computer with excellent build quality. We picked up the Surface Book 2, and I couldn't be happier. It's honestly the MacBook Pro Apple should have built. I do miss macOS a lot, but Windows 10 is not the Windows everyone complains about, the keyboard feels so much more natural, and while the trackpad is smaller and not solid-state, the tracking and gesture support are equal to the Macs. Yes, the processor is a 20W quad-core 8th-gen i7 instead of the six-core i7's or i9's, but it is still extremely fast, and the GTX 1060 over the Radeon Pro 560X more than makes up for it for the work I do.

  • Actor Orlando Bloom stops play because of audience member just holding an iPad

I had to look him up... looks kind of familiar.

Lord of the Rings? The books were better.  I missed the last few movies, but they were forgettable obviously.

The trouble maker might want to use an iPhone in the future...  It’s hard not to notice an iPad.
Unless you just don't watch movies, which is understandable then, I have a hard time believing you haven't seen a number of films he's been in. You already mentioned Lord of the Rings, he was also in Pirates of the Caribbean, Kingdom of Heaven. Looks like he's been doing more indie and stage stuff these days, but these were all very big movies and/or franchises.

Everyone talks this and that about new 2018 MBP but if there is not enough complains, push back for Apple not offering Function Keys MBP than Apple will assume no one cares and Apple will kill it. One that happens than it's too late to make your voice heard. .
Well, first of all: Apple does offer a model with physical function keys. More than one, actually, at present.

Secondly, all the touchbar models can switch to function keys at one touch.

Your post seems whiny and misinformed.
Agree 100%. I would also like to see just how many people complaining about the lack of Fn keys actually used the Fn keys as anything other than brightness/volume/music control buttons.
