Editorial: No WSJ, Apple isn't stuck in China
It is true that China is the only place where they can manufacture products at the scale necessary for worldwide supply, but is also true that Apple could have push for diversifying more manufacturing outside or china. Making the Mac Pro in TX is not enough when your just sitting on the biggest pile of cash in the world. The only reason they are starting to manufacture in India is because they are required by the government. Tesla has been investing on diversified their production all around the world. And I know, Apple does not own the factories, but they can push vendors to do what they want for sure. -
