  • Apple's Touch ID is probably never coming back to iPhone

Why not have both Face ID and Touch ID?   Android is able to have under screen fingerprint sensor on their phones,  a shame we (Apple users) don’t have it.

I have said it many times since its launch that if Apple would introduce a iPhone mini PRO, the sales results for the mini would not have been so dismal. This article seems to validate that as it relates to the PRO models in greater demand as the consumers prefer the premium models...
I doubt it. I think it’s clear while some like small phones , most don’t
That might be part of it.  But,  from what I remember, there was really no marketing for the 13 or the 13 mini.  It seemed everything from the cell phone TV ads was Pro models all the way.  They could have used the chance to show the benefits of a smaller and lighter weight phone that oh by the way costs less.  But they did not.  I believe we will now see marketing for the 14 pro models everywhere, but not the 14 and 14 plus.  It may be that Apple will want to rethink having 4 current phone models every year that just has 2 screen sizes.

  • Six years ago, the iPhone X set the table for everything that has come since

The iPhone X certainly set the path for the next decade. When people try to use fingerprint readers it looks like it is a decade old. The A11 and TrueDepth camera has allowed for fun things like Portrait photos and Animojis, but the fact that iPad Air and mini still use Touchid in 2022 is sad. I am going to the iPad Pro for that reason. On the Mac too TouchID feels antique but Apple Watch unlock makes it kind of seemless.
A lot of people want under screen Touch ID.  I would trade my phone in for a new one just for that alone.

  • iPhone 14 Pro models may be more expensive than iPhone 13, Kuo says

Price increases will make them a tough sell for the rest of the world.

The USD is massively inflated at the moment, so the two combined could be as much as a 30% price gouge for people outside of the US.
Or it could mean people hold onto their phones much longer after paying them off.

These new M chip laptops (Air and Pro) feel thicker and heavier when carrying. The Air certainly doesn’t feel as light and slim as previous generations
Yeah.  They may be great from performance and battery standpoint but the look and feel is a letdown.  The iconic wedge design will be missed.   I cherish my 2018 air now.  The current air and pro seem to look the same,  should there be two models now?
