  • Apple will start collecting 'Netflix tax' in September

Keep voting Democratic and then complain about made up taxes and "fees" hence more taxes. Makes sense.
You would prefer to vote in an undemocratic process?

  • How and why Apple's iPod touch could be reborn

I'd suggest that in a video setup the second device should be an iPad and not an iPod. The larger screen makes reading notes easier from a distance, it can double as a "monitor" for the people being filmed... The price difference is minimal so it comes down to whether or not the larger device is too cumbersome to carry around - an iPod (or a second iPhone) could be carried in a pocket, but you'd need a satchel or similar to bring along the iPad. But since you probably have a tripod anyway...

  • Apple's VR headset: What to expect and what it will look like

Success will be about software. If it’s only for gamers, can’t see mass adoption. Then it would be, as you say, a stepping stone.
the killer app for VR is fitness.
Oh, please. The killer app for VR is porn.

But nobody will want to admit to that, so, sure, fitness.

  • Apple trumpets eight years of health technology with new report

The question though is: When are they going to rip apart the Health app and start over from scratch to create a decent one? That app is terribly designed and basically just vomits out data. There is so much potential there to help people see and understand their health and how various factors correlate and so on. Apple seems to be missing the boat on this one.

Still miles better than anything else out there. Wait until you see a hospital information system.

  • Twitter will face Elon Musk in court in October

I don't see this ending well for anybody, but I think Twitter will win the suit. Musk is claiming they failed to follow a clause about providing information about the company, Twitter is arguing that their public statements fulfilled the specific request he made.

The SEC will have more ammunition in their ongoing efforts to enforce the rules on an egotistical billionaire.
