  • Apple Music, News+, Apple TV+ bundle being considered for 2020 release

It occurs to me that the time and technology is now perfect to resurrect the original MTV model. Remember when every band had to make music videos too?  Apple with its love of music and now video production would be the perfect platform.  Watching your favorite band perform in a music video back in the day was 'magical'.  "Money for Nothing and your kicks for free" indeed.  With all the latest ability to create playlists, sort and shuffle ... it would be 'amazing'.  A remake of Robert Palmer's infamous videos in 4K  would be 'Simply Irresistible' ;).  Probably too politically incorrect now :(

I'd go one step more, Tim should look into acquiring the rights to the entire MTV catalog from Viacom (I think that's who owns them, I could be wrong) so as to provide an archive of on demand Baby Boomer material albeit only low resolution.  Hey, even talk to the BBC about all the Top Of The Pops archives.
I’m just guessing here, but I’m pretty sure MTV doesn’t own any of the rights to the videos they aired... the labels do. Purchasing MTV for those rights would be like purchasing a radio station and thinking all the music came with it.

  • Apple's AirPods versus AirPods Pro - which is the best for your money?

Isn’t there supposed to be another AirPod upgrade coming soon? Kuo predicted one pair at the end of 2019 and another in early 2020, if I remember correctly. Has anyone heard any rumors about those yet? I’m hoping for some health features, although other than that, what else could they possibly cram into such a tiny device?

  • Tips, tricks, and customizations for your new AirPods Pro

After having use of my AirPods Pro for a day, I can say that they are a great improvement, at least for me, because of the ear tips. Still the rubber tips don't make a tight enough seal for my ears; I'm using large. I hope that a third party will make foam tips cause I have the best results using those with other canal buds. That said, the noise cancellation isn't perfect because my ears aren't sealed completely. But, it works good enough that I can't hear most background noises. Still, I would use my Sony WH-1000XM3 for airplane travel and underground transit. I don't get the rationale of removing the tap control and replacing with pinch. Possibility of dislodging the buds when pinching is greater vs tapping. Pinching is awkward to accomplish if you are on the move. The only negatives so far is I had an instance of the right pod losing connection after asking Siri to open my garage door. I couldn't get audio back until I removed the device in Bluetooth and set it up again. Also, it's difficult to remove the pods from the case cause I can't get a good grip with my fingers. They're too slippery. Finally, Siri voice response volume is so low, it's barely audible. Is there a way to raise the volume like on Apple Watch? Edit: Why are paragraphs removed every time I post? I see other posts with paragraphs. Am I doing something wrong?
I had the same problem with paragraphs when using my phone. Try a double space between paragraphs, that worked for me.

  • AirPods versus AirPods Pro -- Apple's wireless earbuds compared

I hope AI also does a comparative review of the AirPods Pro against the Powerbeats Pro since both are in-ear and at the same MSRP.
Noticed this earlier on Apple's site:

Yeah, they dropped the price a week and a half ago. I received a notification from Apple saying it was for a limited time, so that price might not be around much longer.

  • Ronald D Moore talks about bringing 'For All Mankind' to Apple TV+

Really hoping that Amazon gets going on Iain M. Banks' Culture series of SciFi books.  Talk about a universe with "legs" for years and years of movies and TV series.  And Stephen Baxter - that writer's imagination is simply off the charts.  And then there's Alastair Reynolds, with his Revelation Space universe.  There's so much detail to his stories that I've re-read some of his books three times just to get my head around them.  Yet, for some reason, all we get are Star Wars, Star Trek, Terminator and Alien / Predator endless sequels plus the mess that is Marvel, and now this one.
Have you read/watched The Expanse at all?
