I think the ASi Mac Pro will be tested by actual professionals just like the current Mac Pro. The design and testing with real professionals has been the hold up with covid affecting the process. As such I think some professionals will still want it. People forget the current Mac Pro was tested by professionals and more importantly, professionals require a wide range of computers. Yet the current Mac Pro was derided as too expensive for some professionals. Now we have a wide range of Mac computing power from the Mini and iMacs, to the Studio and the the Mac Pro.

Both of our Mini’s were easily updated with no problems. I can see the temperature and humidity. I played around and I can use the minis in Shortcuts app with humidity and temperature sensors. 

Did we think M2 Max would beat M1 Ultra? There is going to be a point when these increases will not be so large. Apple will not overcome physics. 

Can we do Shortcut automation with the temperature or humidity? It would be nice if my Ecobee thermostat can use these as part of the room averaging it does. The HomePods don’t have motion detection capabilities though. I’ve been asking Ecobee to have humidity sensors for years now.

Wait what?  The ITC finds Apple guilty of patent infringement... for patents that were invalidated a few weeks ago?  Is the right hand not taking to the left hand?

ITC is the international group saying Apple infringes upon the patents. The US Agency says those patents are invalid, at least for now.
