  • The TextBlade keyboard is superb, but you'll have to be patient

Really? Your parents named you 'WayTools_Support'? With the underscore? That's a very cute name for a baby. Maybe it will catch on now that Noah and Emma are getting long in the tooth.

More deflection and obfuscation. You are not addressing the only issues that matter. The customer money in your pocket, and the product you have not shipped, for 4 years.

I cannot use my real name because I do not want my order forcibly cancelled by the authoritarian regime at Waytools. I believe just about every public critic of your operation is no longer in the order queue so they are not 'customers' but 'former customers'. 'Former customers' who lent you their money for months or years and received nothing in exchange but lies. I wish to retain my right to sue you if you make off with the money.

If you believe all your misrepresentations, you should take your refund.
I understand you would much prefer I simply take my money and go away after 4 years of relying on your falsehoods regarding the shipping status of the product I paid for.
Since you say you’ll never get your shipment, there’s no reason for you to keep an order.
That way you can continue your disparagement campaign, absolutely free of charge.
I am acutely aware that you would prefer to silence me and all of your detractors, as you have done on your own forum. If you were an authoritarian political leader, all opposition would be exterminated at this point in your rule. Sadly for you, your 'fora' (lol) is not the only place where people have the opportunity to debate your unethical behavior. You wanted this Appleinsider article to promote your non-existent non-shipping and apparently non-functional product (everybody says it works but you say it does not work well enough). You invite review of a product you are unwilling to put in the hands of people who paid you 4 years ago, and then you whine and complain and deflect and insult when you are criticized. The way you operate as a manager/owner/CEO of a company is a joke, and I thank you for illustrating your tactics and behavior to a wider audience so they can make an informed decision about doing business with you.
We’ve not responded to your fresh baiting, and increasingly extreme personal attacks.
We’re keeping to the spirit of the posting rules here.  You’re not.
I am not aware of having broken any posting rules here. A moderator admonished people to keep it civil and I am doing that. Calling a liar a liar is neither extreme nor uncivilized when it is a demonstrable fact. I have not crossed what I would consider to be the threshold of incivility by calling you any unprovable names such as an outright thief, yet, because you have not yet closed up shop and disappeared with all the money, though ultimately that is what I expect you will do. I stand by my above statements that your overall behavior does appear to be that of a criminal mindset, in that your sole purpose, despite statements that the company is not funded by orders, is to hang on to all of the money you have already collected for the past 4 years for an indefinite period of time while never shipping a product to your customers.

If you return all of the money you collected for 4 years of worth of orders, I would have zero - repeat: zero - criticism of you. If you had marketed your product from the outset to 'investors', not 'customers', I would have zero criticism of you (and believe it or not I probably would have invested). Plenty of tech companies fail, as you have. Plenty of innovators find they have bitten off more than they can chew, as you have. That's life in tech and we all acknowledge such. But when you cross the line and take the money from customers, and keep it, while all along making claims of product readiness which are absolutely totally 100% provably false, for 4 years, you are going to be examined, and ridiculed, and criticized, and judged, as you rightfully should be. You are unethical. You are a liar.

Let it be clear to all who have not followed this saga. This company and product were not a Kickstarter campaign or anything like it. It was a product advertised ready to ship - 4 years ago. They advertised. They promoted. They took orders and collected money. In 2015. It is now 2019, and nothing has shipped.

Return the money or ship the product. I am repeating myself now and this is tiresome. This is why I know this will most likely and ultimately end in theft or a lawsuit, because this is the same nonsensical non-communication and defense of yourself that you have been engaging in for 4 years while the money remains in your pocket, and you will not change.

Utter and complete tripe. Deflection. Obfuscation. Delusion. Fails to address any substantive issue at hand. Written by one of the three primary waytools cohorts who populates the waytools forum. By all means ignore us and we will ignore you.

If you give waytools your money, this is precisely the kind of nonsense you will receive in lieu of a shipping product. I gave them my money 4 years ago, and the above type of BS is all I have received in exchange.

@TextBladeDenied can you think of any company that exists now or has ever existed in the history of the world that you respect than WayTools?
'that I respect than Waytools'? Did you mean 'that I respect less than waytools' or 'that I respect more than waytools'? Not sure what the intent of your question is. I can tell you that there are plenty of companies I appreciate and respect and even cherish (particularly the one I work for), many CEOs I have learned from and respect, and of course there are companies I do not respect at all. Waytools is a tiny little outfit. I assume it to primarily reflect the will and attitudes of its owner Mark Knighton, a narcissistic liar who has no idea how to grow a company or cultivate customers or deliver a product or meet a deadline. It is relatively easy (compared to real accomplishment) to lie to people and take their money and deflect truth and obfuscate reality, and when a person or company does that, they should not be allowed to hide from it. Ethics in business is extremely important to keep society functioning properly. Transparency is also key to business, and of course politics. Everything waytools does is totally opaque. Because they are liars.

Hey guys, I offered an olive branch a while ago. I even congratulated you on your civility of your last few comments.
    Hope you take it.
In the meantime, pls stay on the high road, don't go back into non useful exchanges like the long post referenced above.
Let's focus on product / company QA if you will, deal ?
It is useful if it cautions someone just discovering the company to avoid giving them money. What exactly is the point of placating them? This has been going on for 4 years. They are doing what criminals do - refusing to do as they said, and keeping all the money. Why give them even an inch at this point? Why continue to let them get away with it?

I sincerely dont know what you mean by focus on product/company QA. Have you seen how they communicate? What are you trying to accomplish here? I'm not asking rhetorically.  Do you think you will somehow transform them into normal people who act professionally and communicate clearly and do as they say?
