    It seems that possibly in the face of current scrutiny, they have capitulated slightly on the application of their rules. They appear to have objected to 1) help pages mentioning non-Apple payments that’re displayed in a web view. 2) If Apple is going to start blocking apps that display non-IAP payment types in web views, 3) surely Firefox and other browsers should be banned because they allows purchases through it on third party websites? This rule is a really slippery slope and could be widely interpreted to include almost any purchase on iOS.  
    1) Help pages, banners, etc... You can’t pretend to have a FREE app then direct iOS users to offers and upgrades at your .com store. 

    2) This isn’t NEW. There’s an agreement and they need to enforced it at all times. 

    3) You don’t get it, do you?

    or if you are already a customer and your agreed to Costco’s house rules, you suddenly tell them you decide you want to pay less, what do you think happens to you and your products?
    Or even better say you are 1 month away for the renewal then tell them you are not going to pay your membership fee but will want to continue shopping with member benefits. 

    Or create a game on DVD burn a few copies then walk to Best Buy or Walmart and tell them to put them on their shelves but for free because you want to pay ZERO commission.

    30% is industry standard since the original Nintendo, Sega etc. is that so hard to understand? 

    You want access to my 1.5 billion loyal (willing to spend on good secured apps) customers there is a fee involved.

  • Epic Games to hold 'FreeFortnite Cup' as part of anti-Apple campaign

    Apple give them until August 28, 2020 to resolved the issues with their developer’s account. 

    Epic know they are not going to do anything about it and their dev account will be officially gone. 

    Then they come with a new Season launching on August 27 a day before the kicking happening. Trying to make the few iOS users that invested in this game angry towards Apple because they can’t play the new season. Talking about: “caring and doing it for our customers”.

    What a total BS on their part they just proved they didn’t want to solve anything  they just wanted “my way or my way”. If the developer account gets canceled on the 28. This will be a great example to explain someone what “backfire” means.
