  • Apple inching closer to noninvasive blood glucose testing tech

Non-invasive, convenient glucose monitoring will for sure be ground-breaking.  And just as surely the Apple Watch will not be the first consumer device to offer it.

  • Mac Studio may never get updated, because new Mac Pro is coming

So either Apple is going to abandon the $2k price point for the desktop market (unlikely) or the next Mac Pro is going to fill in the $2k price point  (laughably unlikely).
This is a bad take.  Look for the Mac Pro to be extremely differentiated and extremely pricey.

  • Apple SIM for iPad cannot be used to activate cellular plans anymore

I just picked up a used ipad mini 5 w/ cellular and I have to say the eSIM experience remains terrible.  The ipad was alternately acting like it was unlocked (it was) and locked to AT&T (it wasn't), and there's no useful way to troubleshoot the problem either through Apple or the carrier.  Went to the T-Mobile store, popped in a micro-SIM, and it worked flawlessly.  It's a shame because I would really like to be done dealing with SIM cards forever.

  • Seven years later, Apple was right to kill off the 3.5mm headphone jack

My partner's iphone 6s is still in daily operation because the headphone jack IS a killer feature.

I have never owned a pair if lightning-connected headphones.  I have however owned quite a number of lightning to headphone jack dongles of various qualities and price points.

  • How gaming on the Mac is getting better with macOS Ventura

Metal 3 may very well be great, but it does seem like a major (and perilous) assumption that any game developers will care to bring games to macos in the absence of native Vulkan support -- aside from the 3 games already announced of course.  Metal may be well established for mobile games but it is a remote island when it comes to AAA.

Another glaring omission is the complete lack of support for adaptive sync on external displays.  Apple is years behind in this department.
Metal 3 is compatible with games using DirectX 12, Vulkan and MoltenVK. That was a major point for showing No Man's Sky (Vulkan) and Resident Evil Village (DirectX 12 on Windows).

Unfortunately you've completely missed the point of the video.  Feature parity between Metal 3 and Vulkan/Dx12 is great, and it means it may be possible for some games to run in emulation.  And of course a small number of developers have already been convinced to bring their games (three of them) over to mac.  But feature parity is not at all the same thing as being a "compatible" API.
