Green texts in iMessages nudge teens to use iPhones

I feel the same way and it’s a turn off also when I find a girl owns a droid. Not because they’re green but because they have a knockoff iPhone. Reminds me of people who think they’re rich wearing fake jewelry and knockoff Gucci.
Apple isn’t obligated to give anything away for free no matter what Epic says. Though I’ve argued iMessage+FaceTime for $1/month for knockoff iPhones/knockoff iPads would have been a great idea pre-FaceTime on browsers.
iMessage alone isn’t reason enough to switch/stick with real iPhones. Apple needs to stop playing with Apple Arcade and make some really good games with it. Games that encourage online play. Maybe add in iMessage and FaceTime support to the games. Improving Maps would help. I always supported the idea of Apple buying Yelp as it would make Maps more interesting. iCloud is too stingy with storage and TV+ has an ugly name and not much content yet.
Apple TV Struggling, With Market Share Of Just 2% - Macworld UK
Even MS, Nintendo and Sony are ahead of Apple as streaming devices. What makes you think they will better than MS, Sony and Nintendo in the gaming console market?
You realize Apple puts 4 year old+ chips in their apple TVs? Apple isn’t serious about gaming. Apple Arcade games have to support 6 year old devices so don’t expect big adventures like GTA or The Elder Scrolls anytime soon. -

Apple’s iMessages is their proprietary system and I think they are under no obligation to produce cross-platform versions of it unless they choose to, like Apple Music. Calling it anti-competitive or anti-trust is just another red herring hoisted up the flagpole to see if anyone salutes.
Critics want Apple to be just another tech company. We all should know that by now.
You do know that Google pays Apple BILLIONS annually to avoid just that?

Apple planning 2022 iPhone SE upgrade, followed by larger screen in 2023
Japhey said:Beats said:wood1208 said:Frame size of iphone SE is good but screen needs to expand edge to edge on side and on top. May be worth moving touchid to power button like iPad..
These constant same suggestions are irritating. Why does it have to expand edge to edge? Why can’t the edges be cut so it’s actually SMALLER with the SAME screen size?If people want a bigger phone they can get other iPhones. “Baby phones” sold hundreds of millions before the giants came so there’s a huge market for them. -

Intel looking to 'avoid fighting' with Apple for TSMC's 3nm chip production
verne arase said:Picture you're TSMC.
Apple has been using TSMC to produce their Apple Silicon chips for the better part of a decade. They help finance development of new cutting edge nodes, and have been a critical partner in TSMC's advancement and evolution into the world's best (and possibly largest) fab.
At first, TSMC was reluctant to take on Apple's business because they didn't want to put so many of their eggs into such a large basket, but eventually the two got together and have been working with each other ever since. Apple likes doing business with TSMC because they not a competitor, and their IP won't accidentally leak into some other subdivision's competing products.
Now, along comes this new Johnny-Come-Lately with a fist full of dollars and wants you to produce their CPUs while they're upgrading their own fab to more modern standards.
Do you go with with Intel for the fast cash grab, of stick with the partner who's been working with you all this time?
Of course, when Intel gets their own fabs up to snuff, you know you'll suffer the double whammy of losing not only the business of fabricating Intel CPUs, but Intel will then try to take as many of your other customers as they can.
What's a body to do ... ?Don’t underestimate corporate greed.
Here’s 2 companies that did something similar and stepped on Apple’s toes:
Google
Samsung
Luckily, TSMC hasn’t put knockoff Apple products on the market but nothing is protected or off limits anymore.
