  • Reports are spreading about a very specific Apple Vision Pro front glass crack

I wonder if those experiencing the hairline cracked glass issue observed the following instructions from Apple? Impossible to say for sure, but it seems like disconnecting the battery cable from the AVP instead of charging the battery while attached to the device may have prevented the cracking issue.

    Store your Apple Vision Pro

    • Disconnect the battery from Apple Vision Pro.
    • Place Apple Vision Pro on a stable, flat surface with the cover glass facing forward and never downward. Or put your device in the Apple Vision Pro Travel Case (sold separately).

And what constitutes “storing”? The device is literally designed to go into a deep sleep after being idle for 24 hours  or something. Why would they include that feature if you’re supposed to disconnect the battery every time you take it off? That’s absurd. Also, disconnecting the battery every single time would require you to power it down every single time, which violates Apple’s usage philosophy completely. For heaven’s sake, you can’t even power the AirPods Max off at all! They want it to be ready to go whenever you go to use it.

I think in your zeal to find fault with the user, you misconstrued the instruct8ons you shared with us. That’s not cool

  • Apple MagSafe Battery Pack Review: Great, but controversial

I cant agree with the criticism that the MagSafe battery pack can’t be charged via a MagSafe charger, and therefore it adds bulk in traveling situations. Using a                           Lighting cable, the MagSafe battery literally becomes a MagSafe charger for the phone, as thre battery charges itself. This was one of the features you called out.

Does it go more slowly than the highest potential for MagSafe of 15w? Yes. But who is to say that if the battery could be charged by a MagSafe charger that it would be alllowed to charge at that rate?

Magsafe can be charged by Lightning while charging the phone via MagSafe. I think yours is a bad take.

"Government is not the solution to the problem, government IS the problem." Ronald Reagan

The more we can starve the government of income the less destructive it will be for the people. Apple should not pay one penny more in taxes than it absolutely has to. Use every loophole, every legal means to reduce one's tax bill. That should be everyone's personal motto too.
By the time he’d been in a few years even Ronald Reagan no longer believed that. That’s Why a few years after he pushed through a huge tax cut, he pushed through the largest tax increase ever at the time. That supply side, libertarian bs has failed every time it’s been tried

While he may have politically supported and signed the bill, Congress writes/passes the bill first, and Congress during Reagan's tenure was either under split-party control or simply controlled by Democrats as far I remember.

Many of the brightest economic minds would also disagree with your last sentence, but this is an Apple fan site, so who cares to get into it  (though I clearly waded into a politically-charged discussion lol)
