  • Saying Apple is in trouble before WWDC is a time-honored and always wrong tradition

    Apple is pretty trolling. And now, the stock is tanking while GOOG, AMZN, MSFT, NVDA. META, and even TSLA go up. 

    WWDC 2025 is a medicore or "nothing burger" event. 

    No big surprise.. Just all boring features so far what we already knew from rumors some days ago. 

    Apple should kill themselves or short themselves.

  • Apple Intelligence translation for users, new AI tools for developers coming at WWDC

    According to Bloomberg:

    • Huge redesign across all OS’s, with emphasis on buttons, redesigned app icons, tool bars, etc

    • Same shape icons on iOS

    • All apps have a new design language, but Phone, Safari, and Camera app will change the most

    • Unified Look in phone app (voicemail, calls together)

    • Messages getting polls and updated backgrounds that can be set (WhatsApp style; backgrounds will sync so both see the same thing)

    • Revamped multitasking on iPad (Mac-esque)

    • Preview app for iPhones and iPads.

    • System wide AI translation

    • Apple’s models will be opened up to be used by Devs

    • Gemini being added (supplement ChatGPT)

    • No big new AI showcase (or showcases of personal context/semantic index) because it’s not ready


    If that´s true, Apple offers extremely limited contents. 

    Apple is the only idiot, who is still not on track, especially considering the rapid pace of innovation by Alphabet Inc.’s Google, Meta Platforms Inc., Microsoft Corp. and OpenAI.

    This WWDC 2025 will be a "nothing burger" event. What a stone-aged event...

    Just imagine that Apple presents what Alphabet presented at Google I/O. Apple Stock would skyrocket by 15%.

    I will believe when I see it. 
    Siri is dumb and stupid. I don´t know how much HomeOS would improve without Siri improvement.

  • iOS 18 saw below average adoption despite Apple Intelligence

    My interpretation is that many people don’t care about AI or Apple Intelligence (=Incompetency) as of today. And most people many upgrade to iOS 18 because the update is informed and displayed on your screen so that people think they have to.

    People don’t upgrade because of AI, but because of hardware designs. 
    iPhone 17 air looks promising with colors which could be a hot selling product. 

    AI has not entered the mass market yet. Apple hastily has time to catch up and to fix the mess

    I would not be surprised if Apple becomes a healthcare company one day. 

    The big picture of Apple is that Apple wants to sell AppleCare for you and yourself (not devices). 

    I am wondering if Apple will make it. It is hard. But obviously, it is the only way that Apple can grow from now on as their business model is challenged from every corner (App Store f*cked ip, Siri voice assistant f*cked up etc.).
