For myself - I’ve stopped buying a new iPhone every single year now since iPhone 11 because they are just way more expensive than they were when I got the 3s, 4, 4s, 5, 5s etc. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB right now which I got on launch day, and I sadly won’t be buying the equivalent iPhone 15 because of the expense. Also the 13 is going strong and the improvement from 13 to 15 isn’t worth the cost, especially as I need the 1TB storage space 
(it’s nearly full as I’m a heavy user of photo & video editing and live in an area of slow internet so offloading to iCloud is too slow hence the high onboard storage).

Another side issue is I use an app called Ravebox101 by Blippin Studios, which has been removed from the App Store. I have it on my phone but no way to transfer it to another device so I’m going to need to keep my current device as long as possible (and hope I don’t lose it). 

It’s alarming that the BHMA has rated a lock that can be picked in seconds with a AAA rating.

Making this non-removable is terrible in professional settings demanding unique setups, and requiring Apple to fix issues with a tool like that feels completely backwards.

USB-C is low voltage, and not rated anywhere near the 120 Volts (or 240 Volts in Europe) that comes out of a mains power socket unfortunately.

I had an app called Bump on my first iPhone (3Gs), where you could tap your iPhone on another iPhone to send your contact information between devices.
