If I'm not. mistaking, you can stream Pandora on Apple audio devices, but not Spotify. This is as it should be for all the b*tching Spotify does in public. Also, It'd be just-desert if Epic was never again allowed on the App Store for all of their public grandstanding and muck-raking! Apple's public persona, however, tells me that if any of these sad-ass companies conformed to Apple's standards, they let them back in a heartbeat.

Apple is letting Tesla skip millions of dollars in App Store fees
Musk really needs to cut corners, because, you know…………the richest man in the world nickeled and dimmed himself into that stratosphere. Piss and moan about others while you produce OVER PRICED, POORLY FINISHED vehicles that owners pay $10,000 - $XX,XXX over the sticker price for Autonomous driving that IS NOT AUTONOMOUS. Musk would have been a good partner for Barnum and Bailey!
Meanwhile Apple continues to be the largest advertiser on Musk owned, dying social media platform, Twitter. Time to stop play nice with the carnival barker. -
Jony Ive's latest gig is the seal for King Charles's space project
Does Sr. Jonny ever do anything significant - you know, designs other than logos and folding paper red noses for charity? Don't get me wrong, even though this is a worthy amalgam of clip art and hip fonts, having done this kind of work myself for years……and for big bucks, I respect the outcome. It's just that Sr. J was once the head of industrial design at Apple, and even though I wasn't a fan of his "function follows form" ideology, he did give us some extremely memorable products. My understanding is that he has formed alliances with some major corporations, yet all we see (on this forum, at least) are graphic design concepts 101……maybe even 103, but, again nothing really significant. ¿Que pasa? -
FTC sues Amazon, alleging users are being tricked into signing up for Prime
What needs to be looked into is Amazon't return policies, namely how long it takes to get a refund. The refund time varies depending on the cost of the item being returned. Items over $300. (according to Amazon support) take 30 days whereas lesser expensive items generally take 3 - 5 days. I'd like to know how much Amazon profits from holding its customers' money. I'd speculate the interest alone on this money is in the millions if not billions. Nowhere in Amazon's policies is there any mention of this (again verified by Amazon support themselves)!
I asked to have Amazon's legal department contact me or I'd take this up with the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau). Of course "too big to give a damn" Amazon did not contact me.
Has anyone else noticed this and / or complained to Amazon (complaining will not get your refund any sooner, just a statement acknowledging the 30 day wait). -
