  • All-screen iPhone without notch won't come until 2030

Ah, the year 2030. The turn of the decade is rumored to bring big changes to the tech industry. 6G connectivity, the inevitable switch from silicon chips due to size constraints, more widespread adoption of “smart glasses”, and foldable/rollable devices will be available and more common. And full screen (maybe even wrap around) smartphones.

  • What Apple TV hardware will run the new tvOS 26

I sound like a broken record, but I am still hoping for that Gen 4 Apple TV 4K. 8 years running on the 1st Gen 4K has heavily shown its age between load times and connectivity. Don’t get me wrong, it is still a great device, but I am hoping this AI craze pushes Apple to release a high-performance version, making this a good home device and maybe a mini gaming console.

  • iOS 18 saw below average adoption despite Apple Intelligence

I have a friend who didn’t even know her phone needed to update until one day a month ago. I was helping her, and I noticed that Control Center was still from iOS 17. I went to Settings and saw Auto Update was on, but it never decided to update even with a ton of free storage available. I manually updated it for her, but imagine how many people think their device is up to date until they one day check their settings. Also was part of the reason why some apps were not working properly.

  • Apple teases OS redesign with new 'Sleek peek' splash page tagline

Although current rumors say it is a very low feature update, I would say a whole new os design will be greatly appreciated and would be more noticeable for all users than adding a slight customization change (or settings reorganization).

  • Next Apple Vision headset could have a refined battery cable

If only those pin connectors were some new data transfer technology better than USB-C. I mean it could be, but the chances of mainstream adoption are not for another 7-10 years.
