  • Don't put camera guards, screen protectors, or keyboard covers on a MacBook Pro

That looks like a greeting card and those can be fairly thick.   I very much doubt a regular piece of paper would cause any damage.   I’m sure the keys actually make contact with the screen and are slightly compressed.  Having the screen in contact with the keys may even provide a bit of structural stability to the glass.  I’m not going to test my hypothesis though

  • CBS uses the real Steve Wozniak -- and Disney's -- to help fight bitcoin fraudsters

I saw the broadcast on CBS and noticed that shot and thought it didn’t really look like his body shape.  I didn’t give it too much thought and had actually forgotten about it until this article.  Now it makes sense

  • You had mail: AOL finally discontinues dial-up Internet service

I think their popularity exploded when they went to a flat price instead of charging by how long you were connected.  I worked with someone who racked up a $300 bill in their first month (even with AOL giving warnings about excessive use)

  • Nobody is going to send you unsolicited messages for remote work

The phishing scam I'm curious about are those that claim that they have accessed all your devices and have videos of you watching porn that they'll send to all your contacts if you don't seen them BTC within a set timeframe of opening the email. On a Venn diagram where is the intersection for "falls for this scam" and "knows how to send money via bitcoin"? I feel like those circles wouldn't intersect, but maybe I'm wrong.
I receive those and they contain a picture of my house taken from google street view from 2011 along with other publicly available information.   I could imagine it might actually fool someone who was watching a lot of porn (I only watch a small amount)

  • If you have interest in a folding iPhone, here's how to tell Apple

Prior to selling off my AAPL shares, I figured anything with big profit margins would be fine no matter how stupid.  Now I no longer care about stupid ideas that may turn into stupid products.
