Thanks.  I forgot to add a VM of Mojave mounts such externals without issue, I just mounted a Catalina SSD and both the HD and data HD mounted although there was a warning dialog I've not seen before.

Mine updated without issue,  I have two paired and used with the Apple TV 4k.

So, has anyone else who has purchased some qualifying Apple hardware since the free year of Apple TV + offer had any notification or acknowledgment regarding this?  I haven't heard anything.

I guess we can see who all the Fox Faux News aficionados are.
