    I's like to see the same graph but based on profits.

    As an aside, I now have Alexa, Goggle assistant and Siri on my iPhone and after hours of asking them all the same questions it is pretty amazing for me to discover Alexa and Google assistant are just as prone to the 'I don't know that' as Siri.

  • Apple distributes second macOS 10.14 Mojave public beta for testing

    About to install the latest so I can't comment on the third beta.  Both installations of Mojave for me on a TrashCan 6 core Mac Pro and a 2017 Mac Book Pro + Touch Bar, in volumes (not partitions) on the main internal SSD, have had the same issue; the restart / installation stopped part way through.  A forced quit and restart completed the installation without issues on both machines.  I will be interested to see if I see this happen again.  Both machines have the latest High Sierra betas in another other volume in the same container so I am not sure if this could be connected.

    I hear you always had a 17" then it became a 15" as my carry around non work Mac.  Just got a 13" MBP (dirt cheap from B&H) with Touch bar and am actually loving it as long as I always go full screen, that said I couldn't work on it.   i use three 27" for that on a Mac Pro.

    Funny as it is I think this demonstrates the need to rethink the AI activation voice commands in general.  How that's done is debatable of course.  I'd like to name my own devices.  

    Fox are deliberately doing it during the World Cup Football shows by having a voice over say "Hey Siri list the up coming football matches".  My paired HomePods now acting as my TV's sound system via Apple TV 4K respond with alacrity.

    The possibility for more mischievous use is obvious.  If every Apple device had a call sign that was semi-unique it would stop this nation-wide level of misuse and of course some but not all accidental triggers.
