Apple's next move in health monitoring and improvement may be sleep monitoring hardware
I may be stating the obvious here...but for good mental health, a good night's sleep is imperative.
Then diet, then exercise, where exercise helps to sleep better!
I applaud Apple for their emphasis on health and fitness. My daughter's a doctor and she says 95% of the patients are in her hospital are there b/c of bad life-style choices, essentially from a horrendous diet!
Anyway on that lovely note...Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Review: Nikon Z6 is a great all-around full-frame mirrorless camera
Just excellent, Andrew! My GF is in the market for a new DSLR camera. She's into birdwatching/photography. I'm going to show her your review on our large screen TV. I know she'll love it!
I've been reluctant to get a full-featured DLSR b/c I really didn't know which brand/model is best suited to work with our Apple stuff, iPhones, iPads, ATV, etc. Also, (most importantly) which brand/model's interface is the most 'Apple-like!'
My limited experience is that for 'usability' the DSLR interfaces/software sucks compared to Apple's. They're usually clumsy and clunky...similar to cable box interfaces.
We bought an inexpensive one a few years ago and sold it within 2 months. It did not have a view finder which made very difficult in sunlight to use. And it did not have wifi to connect to our iPad. I did buy her the wifi SD card which helped, I think.
Anyway, thanks again, Andrew. great work! Your videos, reviews, tips and podcasts have made Ai my one-stop place for all things Apple! Used to be MacWorld magazine. Sadly, that, as you know, is defunct.

MacBook, MacBook Air or MacBook Pro: which one is right for you?

MacBook, MacBook Air or MacBook Pro: which one is right for you?
If the 12" MacBook had Touch ID, the latest generation trackpad, a little more power and thinner bezels I'd Choose the MacBook b/c it's what a "portable" should be, i.e., super-light. ~3/4's of a pound lighter than the new MacBookAir!
Even w/o the above features, I'm still happy with my 2017 MacBook.
I think my next purchase will be the new 27" iMac (when it arrives), an iPhone 10s Max, the new Apple Watch (cellular) and a new ATV!
There, best of all possible worlds. Huge screen on my MacOS iMac, iOS w/large screen on my iPhone Xs Max, WatchOS on my AW, and the largest screen, w/my TVOS ATV!
Oh, and my AirPods, of course!

Zuckerberg told Facebook execs to stop using iPhone after Tim Cook privacy comments
macxpress said:anantksundaram said:danvm said:widmark said:Absolutely he and everybody else have a responsibility to finger those who are harvesting our data for profit. Zuckerberg is even harvesting data on non users... why, because he can and it makes him money. He’ll say that Apple is just being elitist because it’s users can afford its expensive devices and don’t need to be subsidized by “free” software like Facebook and Android which harvest your data instead. What he is really saying is, Facebook is taking advantage of those who can least afford (or have little understanding) to avoid a deep and aggressive exploitation of their data trail. FB has turned freedom from personal data exploitation into a luxury.
We need regulation on data privacy yesterday... this won’t stop until we do. It’s too profitable. Facebook is on a tear to exploit the undeveloped world where many think Facebook is the phone OS it’s so universally relied on. Credit to Apple that they haven’t succumbed and are taking a stand.
