    While AI can help,I can’t help feel that there is room for more modular improvements, that could just be rolled out over time. 

    Right now it feels like it’s all focus in something big, rather sone parallel iterative evolutions. For example, identifying the frequency of certain type of questions and which of the more popular ones are still resulting in an “I found this on the internet” or “I don’t know how to do that” answers, rather than Siri being tweaked to provide the specific capabilities. Heck, the fun jokes and behaviour could be evolved 

    In the end it is not about AI or not AI, but rather the user perception of Siri improving. Right now the perception is that Siri has stagnated and is still failing at common items, even after 5 years and that its hasn’t improved in it’s fun gimmicky aspects either.
