I rather hope Apple adds USB-C to their phones. Just because they dont have to for another couple years doesn't mean they should put it off. I would buy a phone sooner than I ordinarily would if it has USB-C. I wont buy another one until it does. All this hand-wringing over MFi is silly. As long as it charges and connects to my computer I will be happy.

They are probably pushing it out waiting for higher volume lower cost fabs to come online. One advantage not mentioned in the article is that they use a fraction of the power other LEDs use.

"According to the settlement website, people in the US who used Facebook between May 24, 2007, and December 22, 2022, may be eligible to receive a payment. Facebook users have until August 25 to enter a claim by entering their name, address, email address, and proof that they resided in the US and used Facebook between the two dates."

This reads like you have to prove that you used Facebook between the specified dates. It looks like all you had to have was an active username / account between those two dates.

You need iOS 16.4 and its accessed through the Daily Cash option in the AppleCard "three dot" menu.
