Few will mourn its loss? I know a lot of people that are buying one now while it's still possible so they have one for the next six years or so. It still is a great laptop, relatively cheap, fast enough, and thankfully still without a glossy screen. Bought my second one last year and very happy with it. 

I'll enjoy every of the five seconds of this Piano Black 7 Plus before I cover up this tiny slippery new iPhone in an expensive Apple-case. 

I believe they have a pretty good feeling of what the market wants. Specially Tim. And anyway, they won't have to throw them away if they're not sold by the first of january, or am I missing something here?

It would be great if this news finally lets the hype around Apple stock die down. They're still making great products and making incredible amounts of money, just selling a little less than last year. If that makes the company boring in the eyes of day traders, fine with me. And I do hope they won't rush to bring the next big thing to market.
