Too little too late, VLC. At one time you were the easiest way to play the media that we couldn't figure out how to play otherwise. But long ago, we had to go for better alternatives for true media player experiences. 

Plex, and some other sever-to-client applications, have blown you away. Why bake in support for unlimited formats when transcoding does a better job anyway?

First of all, this rumor is from some unreliable source and contradicts Ming Chi Kuo, who would know.

Secondly, iOS today has features like iCloud Photo Library and Optimize iPhone Storage, along with auto-delete of iMessage. The two biggest culprits that eat up local storage have intelligent automatic management now. It has never been more possible to get away with a 16 GB phone than it is today. Never mind the fact that 50% of iPhone owners don't know nor care how much storage they have.

This rumor is not from Ming.

Ming says A9 with 2 GB of RAM. He is 99% reliable when it comes to Apple.

Everyone always imagines extremes when it comes to uses for this technology....

...Apple will probably create a feature in Messages where you make a face, and it captures and converts it into an instant emoji.

And how many new retailers? Oh zero? Gotcha.

The reach of Apple Pay makes no difference with 3 banks or 1000. Until POS terminals accept Apple Pay everywhere that they accept the cards...its still a niche feature with no momentum.
