Avast antivirus harvested user data, then sold to Google, Microsoft
If you are any bit worth your salt on the Mac OS, you don't need any virus software! If you have it or have used it, chances are you fall mostly in 2 categories: 1) - Past windoze user. 2.) Novice, to intermediate Mac user. And yes I agree.. I see some google comments here... Yes I agree Google is a huge problem. They knowingly fund, funded by and propagate all sorts of shady illicit, illegal operations. Shame. -
Apple's Intelligent Tracking Protection can be exploited to track Safari users, says Googl...
Well gollie-gee-wiz! Will you look at that!? Google, is pointing out a security flaw in the very system that demonetizes Google’s entire platform. Ads. So nice of google to tell us Safari users we are at risk!! Wow. Guess i will start using Google Chrome now. I love CPU intensive, Memory leaking, Ad serving/Tracking software!! /end sarcasm. I’ll stick with Safari thanks. -
AccountEdge abandons Catalina compatibility, customers looking for alternatives
I Applaud account edge on this move! Once upon a time Apple would bend over backwards to be compatible with the rest of the world. Now Apple is the misbehaving ape swinging it’s conform and control arms around wildly. This behavior is causing developers to leave the platform. furthermore, business wise, financially it probably makes sense not to pursue the dying mac market. Sad.
