macOS Big Sur telling Apple what app you've opened isn't a security or privacy issue
This absolutely is a huge huge privacy and security exploit vector point. The amount of pain in the ass that this TPM OS and software causes is nowhere near worth it. It’s hugely ruining the user friendliness the mac used to have. It’s quickly becoming pure pain and drudgery and a very big waste of time dealing with this unneeded over-secure bullshit, that turns out doesn’t even work!! Quite the opposite actually. Great engineering is less. This is way over-done, buggy, and clearly beyond what Apple can handle. Apple doesn’t have the chops to pull of what they are trying. Sad. -
