  • Review: Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX receiver proves wireless CarPlay is the way to go

As resistive screens go, it's actually reasonably responsive.
Responsiveness isn't the only issue. The requirement for pressure to make it work is a durability problem, and in your car is not where you want a durability issue. Resistive screens are an inferior, cost-saving choice, that's the bottom line. I would never put one in my car.

  • Comparing AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, & Verizon's unlimited wireless plans for iPhone in 2019

The T-Mo Senior plan should have been mentioned. For 55+, 2 lines of T-Mo One is $70 including taxes & fees. Only the account holder needs to be 55+ - second line user can be anyone/any age. Also, the Plus add-on for T-Mo is only $10 per line if for 2 or more lines. We switched to T-Mo 2 years ago after 20 with AT&T and have been VERY happy with the move. Saving a ton of money, customer service is 100x better, and coverage is nearly as good and improving all the time.

  • What's new with Apple CarPlay in iOS 12

Sirius has been supported by CarPlay forever - I use it all the time. The great thing about it is that you can stream at 3 different bitrates, all far superior to the highly compressed stream that a satellite connection provides. You have to have the streaming option as part of your subscription, but that's it - you can stream today, on iOS 11, and the sound quality is fantastic.

  • Apple replaces Mac hardware trade-in partner PowerOn with Phobio

These trade-in deals are awful. You're far better off reselling your old Apple gear on Ebay. Just keep your packaging when you buy new gear (especially the external box for an iMac) so that you'll have proper shipping materials (and highest value), and it's a breeze. At the very least, compare your trade-in offer with what current prices are for your gear on Ebay before deciding which way to go.
