I read a few of the reviews, and it's comical how kind and sympathetic various reviewers were, while "reviewing" a turd that just broke on them with zero abuse, in a span of 24-48 hours. Every single review should have been absolutely brutal on this thing - but the ones I saw weren't at all. I have no idea who would buy this device even if it were proven durable. 2 grand? Are you kidding me? For a fat, heavy phone with an off-center display with huge bezels, that opens up into a bad version of a mini tablet? People still laugh at the notation of a $1k phone, then turd comes along and doubles that figure. I have NO idea what these guys are thinking.
Responsiveness isn't the only issue. The requirement for pressure to make it work is a durability problem, and in your car is not where you want a durability issue. Resistive screens are an inferior, cost-saving choice, that's the bottom line. I would never put one in my car.As resistive screens go, it's actually reasonably responsive.
My wife is a Red Cross volunteer. It's a fantastic organization with a bunch of really dedicated people. What the hell is the accusation above all about? If you're going to besmirch the name of this organization, please be specific with your grievances. Apple is trying to help and you drop a turd like this? SMH
This issue was SO overblown when it was originally overturned, that it's hard to take anyone seriously who is having a coronary over it all over again now. Websites like this one will "slow down" while the big guns are blazing down the internet superhighway? Please. Anyone buying that nonsense needs a reality check.
