Ummm, no.  Microsoft developed Excel for the Mac, and later ported it to Windows.  It is still a native application in MacOS and “emulating” is not required.  If you really have had a Mac for 25+ years, you would know that Excel on the Mac used to be much more advanced than the Windows version and in more recent years the updates have not always remained in sync.  Given the capabilities of Excel for Mac, you’d have to be doing some rather esoteric edge-case tasks in Excel in order for the Windows version to offer any advantage.

If Intel will be doing fab for the A-Series processors, maybe Apple would have included preferential access to Intel's processors as part of the agreement?

Thanks I couldn't find that. (a quote along with the general link would have helped perhaps) And yeah, that's not precisely the normal use-case for me or the standard user either I expect Untouched for 48 hours? Other than my longer backpacks that never happens and I've had iPhones for years... and so the point is it is not simply "every 48 hours" periodicity but rather 48 hours of a specific condition (uninterrupted locked).

So IMHO "On your iOS device with Touch ID enabled, you must reenter your passcode every 48 hours" isn't true. The specific condition of it having not been unlocked for a 48 hour span  isn't mentioned making it seem like every 48 hours you have to enter the passcode with Touch ID enabled and that's not the case.
