4:00, so on the future Mac Pro transcript with a bunch of reporters, when they said "software that uses two GPUs didn't really materialize" or something to that effect...Their own software still wasn't doing it? Oof. I remember that from 2013, somewhat socking their own programs still aren't using both when they should. Even if the cylinder is going away, multiple GPUs through eGPUs will be around.

Interesting that it uses AMD VCE in some places, doesn't it lose in a few areas to the regular iMac due to Quicksync in previous tests? Are those not using VCE, or is Quicksync still faster?

Three Monsoon cores. This is going to be a monster. 

It's timely that Intel also started shipping quad cores in ultrabooks, otherwise this would have far outstripped them. But in the fanless space it'll still brutalize dual core Core M.

I'm interested in seeing if the next refresh brings a Butterfly 3, that addresses the jamming complaints. The new keyboards may be a love or hate thing, but one thing a keyboard always needs to be is reliable. 

Dell introduced a maglev keyboard that lets them tune throw and pressure curves more precisely, that would be an interesting idea in this tight space. Not that I expect Apple to, but a significant change here will be interesting to look at. 

Dropping the MBA would be fine by me, but at least the Macbook 12" has to take over its price slot then. 

Matching the Pro 13"s size is kind of weird as they'd be so similar, makes more sense to me to drop the "Pro" moniker from the nontouchbars name and just have it become the 13" macbook. 

The real question is what it would have been without the cut. I.e I laughed when he had the Intel CEO talking about the billions spent on the 5nm fab plant while standing next to Trump, while they planned that 5 years before and had to do it regardless of corporate taxes, just to compete.
