Qualcomm CEO downplays importance of Apple relationship after C1 modem
"64-bit is a marketing gimmick"

Not sure losing such a big revenue stream warrants a "that's what it is" blasé response from the CEO. Downplay it all you want, but it's actually quite a big thing. -
Five more iOS 26 features leak from a reliable source
Ignoring all the childish hyperbolic, negative nelly comments, iteration in these apps is always a good thing.
Expecting major INNOVATION annually ignores the reality of a mature product category.
The Notes rumour is interesting, using Notes can be great but sometimes you want to extract that data and use and expand on it in another more full-featured app - the options are limited unfortunately, but a markdown export feature could open possibilities.
Looking forward to next week's presentations, not just the keynote which is always a good viewing, but some of the other lesser watched sessions reveal some very interesting updates and changes which don't always feature on the marquee but are nonetheless important. -
Big redesign and more: What to expect in macOS 26 at WWDC 2025
libertyandfree said:If these are the updates for MacOS26 then Apple is in worse shape than I thought. These are all so minor/lame that almost no one will know or care. Apple needs to get its act together with implementing and integrating AI within MacOS and that thing they call Siri. For the first time since the late 1990’s I am really concerned Apple has lost its way.
Will be interesting to see this new homeOS and how it's implemented. The other area of interest is in Shortcuts, playing with that app just a little it's obvious there's value there, but sometimes extracting it is beyond an average user's "engineering capabilities" and could use some more Apple "common user" magic to unlock. Lots of potential with both.
AI promises potential but we'll see, I'm hopeful it delivers some value but the hype (and hatred, both equal in passion) seem to be too distracting at the moment.
Finally, UI iterations, always welcome and exciting to see, Apple has always excelled in this area. -
Apple TV+ 'Slow Horses' season 5 will start soon

Love Slow Horses, finally got around to reading the books and they're quite enjoyable as well, the series is following quite closely the books which is refreshing in a series. Gary Oldman is simply awesome in his role.
