  • Indian smartphone sellers fear iPhone 'snob value' as Apple plans to sell used handsets

I find this hard to believe, a lower cost iPhone for all those not so rich people in India !
A used iPhone is much better than many of the current android phones.

Now I know why my 9 month old iPhone 5c only has a $100 trade in value.
No problem here though, my iPhone 5c will probably serve me for 3+ more years.

  • Review: Apple's 4" iPhone SE is better than we deserve

This has staying power.  Would not be surprised to see this on the market for 2-3 years without any updates

The mfg cost savings on the case and screen must be pheonomal. These components first hit the market five years ago.  Good move Apple

The SE is the iPhone upgrade from my iPhone 4 which I would have bought last summer.
Too late Apple, but in another 3+ years I'll look at it !  Sooner if my 5c doesn't last, but don't count on the 5c failing earlier.

Yes  Apple must be getting a great deal on parts.
Apple's volume is so high they are in the drivers seat on parts.

Those stock market analysts who said Apple iPhone sales are dropping because of a big parts build up,
     had better use this event to get smarter or to stop making bad predictions;
because they don't have enough info to open their mouths so far !     :#

  • Apple offers larger 256GB capacity for both 9.7" & 12.9" iPad Pros

Oh my, the storage increment is quite a markup from the cost of an external SSD.
To start with the 16GB starting storage for iOS devices is too small, 32GB should be todays minimum.
Then the cost increment for more storage could be "just a bit" lower, considering SSD costs today !

  • Florida sheriff vows to arrest Tim Cook if Apple won't comply with court orders

Grady should go back to sheriff school and learn that he is paid by Floridians to be of service to the people, not an obnoxious egoistic dick who can't bare others in not believing in his corrupt ideologies.
He's actually far from corrupt. On the contrary he could be one of the least corruptible sheriff's in the South. But he dang sure is hard-nosed, following the law to the letter.

Grady Judd also has little tolerance for on-line bullying of kids with even high-schoolers subject to arrest if they cause someone harm as a result. He aggressively investigates Facebook users boasting of a crime, (or God-forbid taunting him to catch them!), has arrested his own officers when suspected of doing anything unlawful, has created one of the country's best police training academies and on and on.

With that said he's never met a camera he didn't like.
He sounds like a throw back to the wild west era.
Yes he does some good, but obviously goes beyond the law as intelligent people understand it.
His county is to be avoided.

  • Even if Apple is working on a car, Tim Cook says hiring doesn't reflect commitment

The first model may or may not be self-driving
Can we please just put an end to this nonsense? Apple is not releasing a self-driving car in the next 30 years, because Apple releases products that actual people will actually use in the real world.

I'm so sick of tech-blogosphere's delusion over self-driving cars.
    Yes I totally agree.
An Apple car to compete with Google's self driving spyware car is a NO NO NO !

The media treats self driving cars the same as Climate Change.   Just currently popular words to catch your attention.
