Worries about Apple Watch EKG false positives are inflammatory nonsense
Like Renee Ritchie says there seems to be no room for nuance in the reporting. I am a physician. I can say that this is not going to precipitate a health crisis. It might cause a few more visits but at worst cause a real EKG to be done, or a real heart monitor to be placed. I can say that its actually pretty good at recording the rhythm and rate. Like all tools it is not the everything of health nevertheless it is A tool. And it is not the devil either. I bought one because every once in a while if I drink too much caffeine I get a funky bunch of palpitations and I was curious to see what it looked like -
