Worries about Apple Watch EKG false positives are inflammatory nonsense
Like Renee Ritchie says there seems to be no room for nuance in the reporting. I am a physician. I can say that this is not going to precipitate a health crisis. It might cause a few more visits but at worst cause a real EKG to be done, or a real heart monitor to be placed. I can say that its actually pretty good at recording the rhythm and rate. Like all tools it is not the everything of health nevertheless it is A tool. And it is not the devil either. I bought one because every once in a while if I drink too much caffeine I get a funky bunch of palpitations and I was curious to see what it looked like -

Intel takes aim at Apple, instead shoots itself in the dongle

Besides that, still no. Computer users have been adapting since day one, and will continue to do so forever.
I realize we sort of have to do the Dongle Dance but I appreciate the sentiment in just wanting to force everybody to go USB-C. If it were up to the PC bunch we would never lose USB-A, and probably would have taken even longer to get rid of Floppies and ROM drives -

Entire 'iPhone 12' & 'iPhone 12 Pro' lineup specs detailed
mike1 said:If this is true, I'd be a little disappointment that the Pro models are starting with a 6.1" screen and therefore enclosure. The 5.8" screen on the X, XS and 11 Pro were great. Those who wanted a larger screen could go to the Max versions. -
Apple nixes video glitch repair program for 2011 MacBook Pros
I had a 2011 MBP15 that died twice. Both motherboards replaced "free". The second time I didn't care if they were going to replace them forever or not, I just couldn't trust it again so I sold it in good working condition. When you spend 2000 dollars on a laptop you sort of expect it to last a real long time. It's the main reason I just couldn't see getting one of the Pros since 2012 except the 2012 MBP13 which, though not glamorous, is a solid little laptop. -
