  • AirPods to gain lossless streaming capabilities via software update, says leaker

C'mon.  The "speakers" built into AirPods are so crummy that even if they could somehow get full bandwidth audio into them, the audio output would be no where near the quality lossless can potentially provide.

Complaining about this is such a non-issue when you have lousy headphones.

It would be nice if they bumped the AAC quality up from 256 to 320 though.  That would basically make the audio indistinguishable from lossless on most headphones.

  • Apple TV+ review: 'Mythic Quest' keeps up the quality in season 2

The strongest thing about season 1 was the standalone episode 5 which had almost nothing to do with the rest of the series. It was so much better than the rest of the show that one might ask if they could've done that, why did they do the other thing for the rest of the series?

Even if you don't watch the season 1, DO watch episode 5 — "A Dark, Quiet Death" written by Rob and directed by his sister, Katie. It's phenomenal storytelling better than most films all in ~40 minutes.

DQD was hands down the best episode of season 1, even though it had very little to do with the overall series.  It was phenomenal TV.

They should include the carbon used to make things like solar panels and batteries. Does not help if more carbon is required than it saves.
Good thing solar pays it's carbon debt off quickly.

I really liked Mythic Quest, and am really looking forward to the second season.   The 'Dark Quiet Death' episode was phenomenal TV.

  • TikTok sale to U.S. company unlikely to happen under Biden administration

Actually the ByteDance Trump spat was always more likely related to his embarrassment at the hands of TikTok users and the theoretical than any real data privacy issue.  I suspect FaceBooks exploitation of American data is much much worse, this decision of putting the issue in more context makes sense.
Ding ding ding!  We have a winner.  Trump was so embarrassed by all the tik tok teens "snatching" up millions of tickets to that pathetic COVID super-spreader rally in Tulsa, OK. (Remember? The one that killed Herman Cain?)

Trump's bruised ego was the only real threat to TIk Tok.
