It's no final cut pro killer. Solid and boasts the "Avid" interface which is a plus to all those editors out there with avid experience. I still find FCP to be a great program, very intuitive and solid. -

Office 2001 was a lot better than X, not to say tha tX was bad but 2001 was far more stable and certainly faster on my iMac. I'm waiting patiently for a good replacement for word. Anyway could someone please post a screenshot of FCP 3s interface? -

FCP looks fine. The blue Aqua looks funny in it, but I use Graphite most of the time anyway, so I think it would look good. -

I think not. But you could easily convert them to QT and edit in FCP. Avi files with some codecs can be converted lossless into QT, and back. I think its: DV Indeo video none divx -

They lose a little clairity. I've been playing with it in iMovie. FCP for some reason takes far too long to export into QT Moov. I may have to upgrade, but I would prefer to stitch them together as they are in divix-avi format. -
