    I don’t get why Apple just doesn’t make a thin version of the MacBook Pro, call it MacBook, and get rid of the Air at this point.

    Sure Apple makes shit tons of money each year. But still a very very long way to 3 or 4Trillion. Even count all the IP, talent, property, etc. I don’t think it will come close to 1/4 of that value. 

    After all, Apple is not East India company that monopolize half of the world at that time. 
    Well, Apple does come pretty close to monopolizing worldwide profits in its respective hardware categories. If Tesla (which I also like) can get away with a PE of 350, AAPL looks pretty good with its PE of 30. Seems like it's always been this way.. AAPL seems to benefit the least from market hype.

    Tricky problem. Larger Apple logo may look a bit gaudy, and it'd look off for a charger to cover only part of the Apple logo. Glass would make it so much heavier, with the glass, and needing to beef up the framing to support it. Maybe ceramic? (But probably prohibitively expensive).

    Looks like the choices are gaudy Apple logo vs significantly heavier iPad with significant redesign. Seems like the former is best to me.

    I hope the larger iMac is exactly like the 24", but with black bezels, and a couple deep color options. I actually like the chin. It helps anchor the screen, and makes a great place for the electronics and speakers to go. Thickening the entire thing just to squeeze the speakers behind the screen makes no sense. Most people don't want to bother with, or clutter their space with external speakers.
    I would be shocked and appalled if there was a notch on a 27"+ monitor.
    The external power brick with ethernet cord is a brilliant and elegant design; Apple's not getting rid of that.
    If Apple is going to put FaceTime on there, I hope they develop some fun filters for video chatting, like the ability to make it look like I'm wearing an eye patch, with a parrot on my shoulder doing silly things while I'm chatting with someone. Arrrgg!

    BTW, I appreciate StationGrey's mock ups, although I disagree with the changes, still interesting to see them mocked up, thanks!

    Kind of OT, but I was thinking it'd be cool for Apple to make an iPhone Air; sacrifice a little battery, performance, and camera functionality for something very thin and light, no openings (except for speakers), maybe with a ceramic body or something. I'd probably be a good idea to have something unique like this after so many years of regular vs pro vs older regular (ie the SE). They could even sell it as an iPhone Edition or something. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
