I will, but how is weight going to be brought down on the iPad exactly? As things progress? Be specific here.
I own an iPad, and just feel it's a 'touch' too big. Just a touch. It's definitely too heavy, that's for certain. It's actually the no.1 complaint I see from iPad owners - weight. And you need to be an owner of the device to understand that. The easiest way to change the weight is to make it smaller, but I don't make by much, that's why I'm talking about shaving off .7".
"shaving" off will cost batteryspace and thus battery time. A 7" screen isn't really using much less energy compared to a 9,7".
I have an iPad and I think it's current battery time is more important than a little less weight or a smaller screen.
To you it may feel a touch too big, but me and other users really dissagree.
Typical AI forum poster response. Rude, unable to look past you're own nose or listen to anyone else. But I forgive you. You're under Steve Jobs' spell so you can't help yourself. Ahh hah hah!!
The real question is: How are you going to make a lighter device that doesn't have crappy battery life? The iPads weight comes from its batteries. The screen isn't very heavy. They could knock off a little weight by removing the glass and the aluminum, but then you have a very fragile device. A 7" RIM device with the same battery life and construction quality will probably be as heavy as the iPad. Personally, I don't think the weight is an issue. Significantly lighter then my MacBook Pro.
You are totally correct on the weight issue and on that point I suspect that Apple is working on new lighter, more powerful battery technologies.

problem for most CEO's competing with Apple is that they likely have a better product but people still buy Apple.
Provide examples? Better still - define "better"?
The proof is in the pudding.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
Fewer of those this year than last year, than the year before, than the year before...
McD
Good point
The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
Add to that (for the Americans here) pudding is anything you have for dessert
OSX is held up as the bastion of OS development..... but Win 7 is clearly better in nearly every way.
Good point. I love all the examples you provided, also.

Enjoy the good times, they won't last forever

Nobody on earth wants a Blackberry-except maybe some trailer park losers and 7-11 suits.
That childish argument is not helping anyone.

I'm guessing you are on a mission to achieve 20,000 posts asap.

Not exactly. it also shaves off screen-size, which saves battery. The battery wouldn't be much different.

Your mission seems to be to achieve 3000 by replying to the same post twice.

So true

You shouldn't rise to the bait with this guy.
That is also a euphemism

I still like the iPad.
