Good now that he got rid of the mullet... He's supposed to be pretty good though. I guess we'll find out soon.

Football. Odd choice of name considering that the ball is very rarely actually kicked. It's always struck me as being Rugby only with more padding used to make it seem more exciting. Maybe that's just me though. If you people like it then that's okay by me. It just strikes me as odd that you label this sport football and call real football (where feet are used nearly exclusively) the odd choice of name, soccer. Who's winning at the moment anyway?

Rugby kicks @$$. So does Aussie rules football!

    Watch out for Washington State.

The WAZZU is going to play against the University of Nevada tomorrow at noon in the new Seattle Seahawks Stadium. I'm going to watch it LIVE. GO COUGS! <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

Whoa, I thought Northwestern would have trouble with Air Force, but, geez!

I thought Oregon's win was the most impressive of the week, Southern Miss is no pushover.

I know Notre Dame has a lot of haters, but they ARE college football tradition, so I hope they're back on track.

    Nebraska didn't look too dominant!

Could Michigan have been more lucky on that last drive?

    Jeff

    And one more thing...

Iowa State sits alone atop the Big XII standings!

The BigXII has looked impotent so far.

Beating Baylor is only a tad more difficult than beating the Texas School for the Deaf and Blind.

Yeah, but it's Cal we're talking about. In football at least, we suck.

If you can't feel good about your program after scoring 70, I guess you never can.

Just wait till the end of the season, look at where Cal is, and I'll be saying "I told you so."

Maybe Jeff Tedford carried a little of that Oregon Mojo down south with him?

    Cincinnati 36

    TCU 29

w00t! I was flipping through channels and I noticed this game was on ESPN, so I decided to watch a bit. Game was awesome. I think it was like 24-16 in the 4th quarter and Cincy tied it up 29-29 on a 2 pt conversion. Scored in OT and stopped TCU. Although I don't like football all that much and we're not exactly a football school.

    Wait till March Madness.

I'll stick to the Buckeyes in football.

Oh, a college football team I like is Marshall. They're not one of these huge schools yet they get it done on the field. Byron Leftwich is awesome.

I love it when I stumble onto a really great game I would never give a second look on paper. Thursday ESPN games tend to be pretty cool like that.

well, Im sure I'll get some heat for this but I have to say it. Notre dame will go 11-0 this season under new head coach Tyrone Willingham. And will win the national championship for the first time since 1989. (should be '93 but the idiots gave it to FSU who ND beat the pants off of during the regular season , poor Lou Holtz, they were robbed).

back! Back! I am protected by my own RDF. along with all the other ND fans out there

ok, ok ,8-3 would still be an ok season for a lame team such as ND.

    Signed, fair weather fan Magicfingers.

ps...i cant help it (re:RDF),Ive lived a mile or so from ND all my life.
