12 inch iBook with a G4 and DVD only for 1299. Don't need the CDRW, don't need a combo.
I need a laptop badly but I really don't want a G3, I want it to last longer. I can't afford the TiBook, so I have to wait for the iBook to get the G4 or find a good deal on a refurbished Ti.
make the body a different color (quicksilver? smoke?) to signify it as a S.E.
$2299 (same price and specs as PM line, but not upgradible...but with lcd....)
g
but since i just bought my iMac, they can wait a year or two before releasing this
iPod2/iPad...maybe, but already have a nice MP3 player and never really understood the need of a handheld....guess it is just one of those things that if you have you love, if you don't you think the person who does is a geek (i always think of handhelds as todays pocket protectors).
[quote] 1)G5 DP running @ 20GHz with 2TB of Ram for $999. (Just about as realistic as an iPod with Palm OS and iPhoto functionality for $400

If I can get the FireFly FireWire 5GB Drive for MAC for $240, that Palm OS iPod for $400 doesn't seem too unrealistic. Besides, everything on our wish lists is coming. It's just a matter of how long we have to wait.
