Ah, you’re right. Still, it wasn’t released, and we’ve seen in the past that Apple often announces things right before the FCC has to release them.

My guess is they had planned to update the Apple TV but for some reason during the 11th hour they killed that and either forget, didn't care, or couldn't do anything about the FCC filing.

uh, what?  I think smartphones already exist and aren't wearable.  And what does one do when it's not sunny outside?  Wearing glasses sucks in general.  If people complain about "having" to wear a watch, wearing glasses is even less appealing.
Damn i forgot about winter lol!, but I still think is not bad idea, the sole purpose of smart watch is to extend capabilities of your iPhone, so why stop just with the watch, why not more wearable devices like a Smart tattoo, Smart jeans or smart sunglasses? That way when you go outside And you forget your smartphone you still remain connected with your iPhone

You mean within the range of BLE or will these smart wearables each have their own cellular capabilities?

The best choice to a wearable smart device will be either a smartphone or smart sunglasses

Until we get someone internal the best choice seems to be the wrist. It's convenient to look at and operate without being in the way.

Why are the delusions of a madman (aka, analysts) considered breaking? You know what's breaking? Appleinsider's journalistic integrity.

It's a rumor blog designed to serve Google ads for cash. There is not a single journalist among them. Nothing is ever verified, but it isn't necessary as long as it generates click traffic.

Wearing glasses—whether you gladly put up with it depends on the payoff, naturally. Blinding sun or snow, focus correction, protection from grit or metal chips, screening yourself from groupies or paparazzi, many reasons. If there's something really great to watch in stereo, people will wear glasses, and Oakley and Armani will jump in quick. You won't have to wear them all the time, and they'll probably switch clear by default.

In fact, I continue to suspect that Apple's patents in this area may be linked to the iWatch. They may be the iWatch.

I agree about the glasses, but I would say the tinting for sun would be only a minor option. The main reason will be for what might be called virtual travel, or some dopey term like 3D telepresence.

Don't have to function as sunglasses but at least they have to look like sunglasses, must look attractive or people will not buy it

Oops Again I forgot physics, agreed..but it will happen in the near future, only Apple has to do is to associate with an accessory company Like they did with IBM
