Coming from someone that first used the word historic and then historical without considering their potential meanings those are some pretty strong words. It's especially odd since my inclusion of historic actually supports your original statement. Perhaps instead of being offended you should instead embrace education.

Now you're changing your parameters to say it has to be a 4" iPhone 6. You can get the 4" iPhone 5S or 5C and as already shown the 4.7" iPhone 6 has less volume and weight most other iPhones previously released, including the 3.5" models.
I already have a 5S. Apple no longer cares about the 4" screen (which is pretty confusing given their past statements). The 5S might be around a while longer, but only for financial reasons.

Tim Cook said that 4" was the right size for the iPhone 5, but that leaves him to have a different right size for the iPhone 6. I definitely prefer TC's word selection over SJ's.

If I remember correctly, the iPhone 5, 5S, and 6 are all lighter than all the 3.5" iPhones that came before, and the box volume for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is less than all the 3.5" iPhones. Then add in the fact it no has a nice curve not found on the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, and 5S, and what appear to be slightly thinner side-bezels and I don't think you are going to get a lesser experience from having a larger display. Now if you go back to a similarly large display on an Android-based device from a couple years ago it seems more cumbersome.
