This was at the official Levis Dry Goods store at the mall. I still have many brand new ones in the shopping bag.

They were $A40 in Costco with coupon, normal price $A50, other retailers still sell them for $A130-150.

I got ten pairs which will last for years.

btw an iPhone 6 still fits comfortably in the front pocket.

Just from a picture, it looks like the person is putting substantial pressure with one goal to bend or break the phone. I can take any phone and do the same with some pressure. In fact. at some pressure, anything can break. Laws of physics.

The 6+ has a far and away better display and better battery life. It's not even close. The 6 has an okay display but the 6+ display is so good it makes me think twice about returning it everytime I look at it.

You're showing remarkable strength of character here, just remarkable. If you take the phone back, I will not be able to say that. This is the stupidest nonissue they've come up with yet. Do not overlook the possibility that the whole thing is bankrolled by you-know-who.

And by the way, you'd be doing us a favor by not quoting this pazuzu. You'll notice that he's being generally ignored, for good reason.

Thinks it’s too good to bend, does it? Bah! Let’s see how smug it is when I don’t buy it!

I can show plenty of online videos where Galaxy S5's, S4's, Note 2's, Nexus 4's, HTC One's, etc are just as easily bent. In the case of the S4, S5, and Note 2's, they not only bend, the screen cracks completely. The point is these devices are not meant to withstand unilateral abuse. What sort of dream world do people live in?

So, how many people would just whip out their new iPhone 6 from their pocket and try to bend it to render it "inoperable" just for the hell of it? I guess if someone was reimbursing you to do it, then I can understand.

Hmmm, I wonder which Apple competitor would do such a thing?

    RE: Bent iPhone 6....

Every smartphone (including just about every iPhone) has had this same issue....

With every Apple release, somebody tries to find the critical flaw. This is starting to get really desperate.

Darn.  I now need to demand Apple supply me with a protective case to prevent damage when I use it as a door stop.

    Idiocy abounds.

The best thing is that douchebag left it there for 18 STRAIGHT HOURS, and during 4 hr drives. Sounds uncomfortable as ****. But something tells me there's even more to that story he's not sharing. Either way, let's blame other for our shit decision making.

Excuse me while I go and purposely bend the **** out of my $900 phone then bitch about it.

Poor attempt at humor, sorry. I'm just implying that you need to consider the practicality of buying an over sized phone. Where are you going to put it?

Can you stop vomiting out the "Steve would never have" line, as if you have a better idea of what Steve would and wouldn't have done than Tim Cook and the COUNTLESS others who fucking WORKED with Steve for more than a decade every single day, and have more insight into the man than you would have in a thousand lifetimes?

No, of course you won't stop. Because part of what makes you what you are is your incredible and shocking lack of self-awareness.

I'm not even a muscular guy, but I could snap both of those phones in half no problem. That guy was faking it.

Hmmm.... How will I judge the durability of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus?

    1) Some video of a guy forcibly trying to bend it on YouTube to attract more views.

    2) SquareTrade's scientific analysis of the device in order to determine their financial risk/exposure in providing warranties on the device.

Go ahead and read the report.  I won't spoil it too much for you, but the words "performed impressively" are a teaser for you.

I can't be the only one that finds it pretty disgusting how so many are so willing to confidently speak for the whims of a dead person they've never met in their lives, and use that opinion to bash those that actually DID intimately know him in his lifetime.

As a new iPhone 6 Plus owner...I have to admit this is pretty troubling.  I imagine keeping your phone in a case SHOULD help with this situation, but for the price of the phone this is pretty unacceptable.  Hopefully Apple addresses this concern, soon, as I intend to carry my phone in my front pocket (pretty obviously).

Don't worry, Apple will have a software fix out shortly. As I understand it, when the iPhone senses unacceptable forces, Siri will start raising a fuss and screaming her head off. Things will go badly for you after that resulting in you being let go from whatever pro team you play for. Eventually you'll find yourself living under a bridge and being shunned by even the men on the sex registry.
