[@]Apple ][[/@] of course. Politics, economics, and everything else but tech.

To be fair, it was oddly not [@]Apple ][[/@] this time. [@]mdriftmeyer[/@] made the initial spark, but it was Apple ][ was standing buy with a drum of gasoline to throw whilst telling him to not bring up politics. And he's right; if you light a match and he's gonna try to burn this bitch down.

I would have to say no too.  I have listened to the analyst buffoons over the years and the sycophant news media berate, belittle, denigrate and outright lie about apple over the years.  There is never enough positive Apple news to combat the flood of crappy information used to smear Apples products and its users.  Never enough.  It never changes too. No matter how successful Apple is there always according to the pundits at any given time lacking innovation, going out of business or DOOMED!  I have been an Apple user since 1987 and there is one constant Apple is perpetually doomed.

That why I included economics, as in people's economic status, but yes this time it was [@]mdriftmeyer[/@] to blame.

wtf are you trying to talk about? You clearly don't use Facebook, because the most inane stupid comments on anyone's feed come from under-educated conservatives. They easily get the most real estate on the site unless you hide/ignore all of them.

That is a pretty rude comment as well insinuating that conservatives are under-educated  what a stupid arrogant remark.  Liberals make just as many stupid remarks too.  There are stupid and illiterate people on both sides of the isle.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Dilger's posts are a disease on this website. He also lacks basic intellectual hygiene, given the various sock puppet accounts he posts from in support of them.

    Then don't read his articles.

Well, that's just as annoying. I'm annoyed by both sides, but I see a lot more of my less educated FB friends spout off conservative typo-ridden motivational posters. Most of the liberal comments I see are dry one-liners -- but I certainly believe you're seeing what you see -- I'm thankful I don't.

I am talking about the ownership of Facebook and they are uber liberals, especially Zuckerberg.

Well, that's pretty common among successful creative companies.

No rage here and I read just fine. You said "because the most inane stupid comments on anyone's feed come from under-educated conservatives".  Maybe you need to read what you said.  I stand by my first post. There are stupid comments from both sides.

And the vast majority of its user base votes GOP.

Trie but as a moderate centrist I'd differentiate between the traditional GOP and the more extremist fundamentalists who have sadly hijacked that party. That latter I doubt could use a smart phone.

Ok, so if I wrote "because the most inane stupid comments on anyone's feed come from redheaded conservatives," would I be saying that all conservatives are redheads?

People are so politically sensitive, that it really is entertaining.

I'm sorry, but liberal race cards are all played out, forever. They are no longer valid and past their expiration date.

Didn't you guys learn anything from the recent massive, historic asskicking? Apparently not.:smokey:

Keep digging for more cards. Shuffle good, or perhaps get a new deck.:D

Hurray! The same party that drove the car into the ditch & put us on a path of perpetual war is in charge again! What I find amazing is how many working people in this country vote against their own self interests. We already know how this going to play out. Blame everything on the President, hold kangaroo court-like investigations and hearings ad nauseum and not accomplish a damn thing for the people of this country just like the last 4 years. Constantly pound the drums of paranoia and constantly play the victim card. They will also take credit for policies they had absolutely nothing to do with.

consider about 85% of people I know buy super phones to browse Facebook all day, I don't think those Android 2.3 gingerbread users are missing all that much.

LOL... iPhones are so easy to use! What's wrong with him? :D

Honestly though... the iPhone only came out in 2007 while he was deep in his first election campaign. He probably doesn't have a whole bunch of time to "mess around" with technology.

He uses an iPod though... so I'm guessing it's not an iPod Touch?

You apparently don't know many teenage Facebook users. At least that what I'll blame that silly statement on.

Where does it say that Facebook was interested in the age of the phones at all. All the survey stated was that 66% of the phones being used on Facebook has the specs of the top selling phone in 2011. Are to saying that they are no longer selling new Android phones with 2011 specs. I'm willing to bet that Samsung sells 10's of millions of such phones in countries where phones aren't subsidized and the majority of its users can't afford a top of the line smart phone.

And guess what, many teenagers are also using new Android phones that were free or BOGO free with a family plan and those phones are not top of the line smart phones but has the specs of a smart phone that was top of the line  2 or 3 years ago. Unless it's an iPhone, it makes no sense to hand down a beat up, 2 year old Android phone to your teenage kid. Not when you can get one practically free, with the same specs, with a family plan. Makes sense now?
