All those Olympic athletes from foreign countries, what an utter waste. They shouldn't be allowed to win gold medels. They don't deserve it.

LOL I had never thought about it but I am sure there are people that complain about the Olympics having too foreigners.

Sometimes it is entertaining to make fun of racial stereotypes and sometimes it is not.

    Couple jokes I like:

"You know why Mexico can't field an Olympic team? All their best runners, pole vaulters and swimmers crossed the border and are in the US."

"You know why the Japanese didn't win WWII? All their best Kamikaze pilots died in practice."

That last one was told to me by a very close Japanese friend.

Apologies in advance, as many long time posters here know, I have a very close relationship with both Latin Americans and Japanese.

Next time it gets chilly in your part of the world say "this reminds me of Pearl Harbor, there's a nip in the air"

Oh no! Isn't Nip considered to be on par with the worst racial slurs?

When I was at university in Oregon I had a Suzuki motorcycle parked outside. It gets cold during the winter and there was ice on the seat. I was commenting to a friend about it and eventually we came up with the slang "nip on suzuk" meaning it was cold in the morning.

I'm not sure I was aware of that definition.

I don't mind jokes, no matter who is being targeted. I like jokes, but unfortunately comedy has taken a turn for the worse in recent years, because I notice that many comedians are afraid of making jokes about the current POTUS.

I read recently that some Spanish or Mexican TV host got fired for saying that Michelle Obama looks like she could be in the Planet of the Apes movies. Did anybody ever get fired for comparing Bush to a chimp?

Nip is an old school ethnic slur for the Japanese. I do apologize if I offended anyone.

    1) That could be very bad if the wrong person heard it. Even if you didn't even know of the term Nippon the reference to a Japanese bike would probably make everyone doubt your sincerity with that coincidence.

    2) So what would you call an Italian on a motorbike? A Dago* on a Ducati?

    * Most racial slurs seem to come from such mundane beginnings. Dago comes from Diego and Nip from Nippon, the Japanese name for Japan. And you can't use the word ****** but it comes from the Latin meaning black, but you can say black. Racism is such a weird world where on one side you have the racists (who now have learned to use racist context without using the racial terms — I think GOP needs to take a bow for that one) and on the other you have people that don't seem to care about the context being used so long as the letter arrangement and phoneme order doesn't trigger a knee-jerk emotional response.

Better than a t-shirt I saw on a Honda owner - "White on Rice"

No, because he did. All jokes aside, I do see your point, but the difference is his comments were racially motivated, but the Bush one's weren't.

Would you mind linking to a source that compares Bush's appearance to that of any non-humanoid simian?

Here is what apple can do
    Provide value and choice
Inputs Apple TV multiple inputs from all devices
    Use Siri to select
    Let Apple ui simple select
    If I don't have a cable box it's easier
But what if I want to connect a DVD player when I rent from redbox??
    Plug into Apple TV
Siri play DVD and it does all the switching
Have a usb 3 output for HDD use it for downloads and DVt
Or Apple TV comes with a HD price points based on storage size

I wish they would allow ala cart
I can choose my bundle give group discounts
Buy two get 1 channel free or reduced cost

    Apple will make it work

Well said. I think it is interesting how much you can get away with in the name of humor if you make it clear that you are making a parody of actual racists.

There is definitely a difference between people trying to be politically correct yet wanting to convey racist points of view to people like Jimmy Kimmel who introduced President Obama as the the first black, socialist, muslim Kenyan born president of the United States.

But I'm not getting less. All I need is the 20 channels AppleTV provides. The other 180 channels that cable offers are POS channels that I never watch. Thats the whole point. Apple is offering a smaller bundle with only the popular channels instead of charging double and giving a ton of crap channels.

What 20 channels does Apple TV provide?

Why assume these other 180 channels are unwanted by everyone else?

Have you even considered a family might each have 20 channels without only a handful overlapping?

How's it possible that you don't know this? There was a bushorchimp.com website that has since been taken down. Here's what I found after a quick search.
