Bohdi, that's a whole lotta mac at one desk.

See some pics of my machine <a href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=10&t=003922&p="; target="_blank">here</a>

It's not pictured but I've added a microsoft optical wheel mouse (Black) because I needed one and it will Match my black plus frosted glass desk. That and the store was blowing them out at 20 Canadian (about 12USD) I figured how can I go wrong. Will pick up a bluetooth mouse for the road when Apple sorts out the HID issues.

Next addition will be a keyboard, if the icekey types like the 12" PB then that's the keyboard for me. This pb has the best action of any keyboard I've ever used bar none, smooth with just the right amount of travel light yet with excellent feedback, something that's very hard to pull off. I typed for a couple of hours at the library today and my hands didn't hurt. Makes we want to throw a brick a this Gateway, or beat someone over the head with this gateway keyboard.

And the next part of the setup includes either a good sporty bag that doesn't shout "Hey, come steal my laptop," or a sleeve. I looked for some this afternoon and I didn't find anything nice. WHy do all the sleeves and bags suck so badly?

    PS.

Any mods out there wanna fix my account so I can post from my PB instead of this PC?

Figure I'd throw my PC in to the mix since I don't own a mac and this is a pretty new set up for me having just rebuilt my computer.

When I'm feeling stressed I take it out on this guy:

I used to own macs exclusively before I started building PCs. It has been awhile though, last MacOS I owned was 7.5.5. Also i'm not a moderator any more, i'm a moderator emeritus .

Picked it up today - new 1GHz, 17" iMac. This one wasn't taken out of the box and used for 4 days, unlike my last one.

It is absolutely perfect. Perfect display, dead quiet, and fast. I love it.

Xbox under the old TV on the right... man, the room looks so plain in photos. I wasn't sure if I was moving my office into the basement or not, so I haven't bothered to do anything to the room yet.

I had forgotten just how useful this moveable display is. Sweet.

Glad you got it sorted out and the new iMac has a perfect display and quiet hard drive.

Couldn't help but notice the contrast in the two pictures above though. I guess we can assume your wife made it safely back.
